Last Week Recap
Women's Volleyball had two more conference matches last week and came away 1-1. The Golden Eagles faced a well-rounded #12 Aquinas team that was riding a 50-set win streak coming into the match. Cornerstone ended that streak but was unable to prevail as they fell 3-1 to the Saints. They would then hit the road to take on Madonna and got a much-needed road victory against the Crusaders. Kylie Barron led the way with a season high 18 kill performance. Cornerstone now heads into the final week of the regular season with an overall record of 18-10 (10-6)

WHAC Outlook
It is the final week of the WHAC regular season as this is where the conference stands. The top 10 teams make it into the WHAC Tournament with the 7-10 seeds playing a play-in round. The number 1-4 seeds all host the WHAC Quarterfinal round before the remaining four teams all head to the highest seeds home court to play there in the Semifinal and Championship rounds. Aquinas is on top with a perfect 16-0 record as Indiana Tech sits in second at 14-2 with Siena Heights in third at 13-3. Lawrence Tech and Cornerstone are tied for fourth at 10-6 (making Wednesday night that much more important) with UNOH right behind them at 9-7 to round out the top five.

Scouting Lawrence Tech
Lawrence Tech comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 12-10, coming off two tough conference losses last week. The Blue Devils held a one match lead over the Golden Eagles before falling in five sets at home to Madonna and then in four sets to Michigan-Dearborn. Lawrence Tech did get the best of the Golden Eagles in their first match of the year as they won in a tough five-set battle on October 2nd. The winner of this match will more than likely be the four-seed in the WHAC Tournament and hosting the Quarterfinal round. Lawrence Tech is led by Maria Trevino Nunez with 217 kills. The Blue Devils average 11.5 kills per-set while hitting just .173 but average 16.5 digs and 2 blocks per-set on defense.

Scouting Rochester Christian
Rochester Christian comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 7-22, losing their last 10 matches. Cornerstone got the best of the Warriors in their first matchup of the year, winning in straight sets behind Aubrey Johnson's 22 kills. The Warriors are averaging 10.24 kills per-set, hitting just .121 while on defense averaging 14.7 digs and 1.88 blocks per-set. They are led by Hailee Mancogna.
