The Golden Eagles open play this weekend against Lourdes on Friday, October 25 before ending the week against Defiance on Saturday, October 26. Women's Volleyball currently sits with a 15-9 (7-5) record which has them in fifth place in the WHAC Standings.

Scouting Lourdes
Lourdes comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 4-21, losing their last 14 matches. It has been a struggle of late for the Gray Wolves as they have been swept in seven of their last 14 matches, going into the fifth set twice during their losing streak. They are led by Jolie Sobb who has 187 kills on the year.

Defiance comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 9-18 with a matchup against Aquinas to open the week. After a six-match losing streak, Defiance got back into the win column with a 3-0 sweep of Michigan-Dearborn to right the ship. They are led by Jamia Murray who has 223 kills on the year.
