ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Cornerstone trailed for the first 10 minutes of the first half on the road at Rochester, but hot shooting behind the arc helped CU overcome the early deficit and earn the 82-72 road victory. The Golden Eagles end the Warriors perfect start to the season and now sit at 7-3, 4-1 WHAC on the year. The conclusion of the three game road stretch comes on Monday, as Cornerstone travels to receiving votes Indiana Tech to take on former assistant Ted Albert at 7 p.m.

- Rochester got off to a strong start, scoring the first six points of the game capped off by a Virgil Walker bucket 2:19 into the game.
- Four minutes into the game, the Golden Eagles had just four points and trailed 9-4 in the defensive battle.
- Drew Knickerbocker hit a three with 13:18 left in the half to tie the game for the first time, 14-14.
- After Rochester increased the lead back to six, Cornerstone rattled off four consecutive three pointers, two by Tyler Baker, to take the 28-24 advantage.
- Rochester tied the game up three more times in the first half, and took the lead once more, but a Kyle Hayes bucket in the final two minutes but Cornerstone up by three at the half, 41-38.
- Cornerstone continued to advance their lead going on a 10-2 run in the middle of the second half highlighted by a Cory Ainsworth to go on top by double figures.
- The Warriors immediately responded, cutting the Golden Eagle advantage back down to six on a Federico Gallinari three-pointer.
- After the lead got as low as four, Cornerstone again went on a big 7-0 run capped off by a Christian Rodriguez three-pointer to make it 77-65.
- Cornerstone did their job at the free throw line down the stretch as Christian Rodriguez hit the final pair with 37 seconds to go to give the Golden Eagles the 82-72 road win.
