GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles could not be stopped in the first half scoring 69 points, hitting 11 threes, shooting 65.8% from the field, and 61.1% from behind the arc as they got out to a 69-33 halftime advantage against Concordia Wednesday evening. CU turned the first half lead into a 109-74 rout or the Cardinals to improve to 8-4, 5-2 WHAC on the year. Cornerstone will go back out on the road on Saturday as they travel to Lima, Ohio for a 3 p.m. game against the Racers of Northwestern Ohio.

- Cornerstone went a perfect 7-7 to start the game erupting for a 17-4 advantage. Riley Costen and Christian Rodriguez each hit a three in the early run.
- The next four field goals of the game were all from behind the arc for CU with Christian Rodriguez hitting back-to-back threes, Gabe Meriwether hitting one, and Jonny Strube hitting one. Cornerstone led 31-8.
- The lead got out to its largest yet of 35 on a pair of made free throws from Riley Costen.
- Cory Ainsworth hit a layup with 51 seconds left in the half to go up 69-31 and the Golden Eagles took a 69-33 lead into the break.
- Cornerstone hit 11 threes in the first half and seven different players recorded at least one.
- Second half started just as good as the first as Christian Rodriguez hit his fourth three of the game.
- Concordia saw its largest run of 9-0 to cut it back to 30 with 18:06 to play, 72-42.
- A Riley Costen layup with 10:17 to play gave the Golden Eagles their largest lead of the game at 41, 95-54.
- The bench saw significant minutes as all 16 players played and 15 of the 16 scored in the 109-74 route of Concordia.
