Jama Claxton is the women's Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week after helping the bowling team to their highest finish ever in a league event at WHAC Jamboree No. 2.

The freshman finished sixth overall in the event hosted by Spring Arbor as the Golden Eagles placed third.

Claxton and her teammates will now have three weeks to prepare for the third league jamboree that they host at Fairlanes Bowling Center on December 2.
