Cass Vredevoogd is the women's Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week after posting a career day in the women's basketball team's opener at Olivet Nazarene.

The transfer came within one point of the school record as she posted 39 points and helped the team tie a school record with 116 points in the 121-116 overtime loss to No. 23 Olivet Nazarene.

Cass will lead CU into their home opener on Tuesday when they welcome Indiana Wesleyan to Mol Arena for a 6 p.m tip.
