Kelli Smith is the Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week after posting a new PR at the Knight Invitational on Saturday.

In the meet hosted by Calvin College, Smith ran a new best-time of 18:16 which is 46 seconds faster than her previous best. It also is the 3rd fastest time in program history for Cornerstone.

Smith and the Golden Eagles will have two weeks off before returning to action at Augustana (Ill).
