Sierra Griffith is the Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week after helping the women's tennis team post a 5-4 win over Indiana Tech in their WHAC opener. The freshman posted two wins to help CU win their second straight match after falling in their first six of the season.

Griffith won in straight sets at No. 4 singles (6-3, 6-2) and also got a point at No. 2 doubles as she and Hannah Ottosen won 8-1.

Griffith and CU will take on Aquinas and UNOH this week as league play continues.
