GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Wolverine-Hooiser Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced the Players of the Week for the Week of September 9 and the Golden Eagles saw one athlete earn the honor. For the second time this year, Jamin Thompson has earned Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week thanks to a first place finish at the Warrior Challenge hosted by Wayne State. Thompson finished with a time of 25:25.40, winning by two seconds over the second place finisher that helped Cornerstone to a sixth place finish.

Thompson will look to lead the Golden Eagles cross team one more time as they will travel to Missouri to compete in the Gans Creek Classic on September 27.
