GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Basketball sees their win streak extend to eight with another blowout victory over Cleary 95-63. Cornerstone and Cleary battled for the first 20-minutes of the game, seeing the Golden Eagles only lead by five at halftime. They would then blow the game open in the second half thanks to
Cory Ainsworth (21) and
Luke Rowlinson (19) scoring at will on the offensive side of the ball. This win moves Cornerstone to 18-7 (14-5) on the year as they welcome Lawrence Tech for senior night on Saturday, February 17 starting at 5 p.m.

- Cleary opened the game on a 4-0 run thanks to nice moves around the basket. Toby Woolcock would answer with a three to get the scoring started for the Golden Eagles.

- Cornerstone opens the second half on a 5-2 run thanks to a three from Luke Rowlinson and a layup from Cory Ainsworth.
- Cory Ainsworth continues to score for the Golden Eagles as they continue to lead 45-36.
- Cornerstone is starting to pull away as Cory Ainsworth uses a spin move to score and Luke Rowlinson follows that with a three to make it 50-36.
- Luke Rowlinson makes two more threes to force Cleary to call a timeout as they now lead by 20, 56-36.
- Mason Brooks gets into the three-point party and Blake Stewart follows with a layup as the Golden Eagles lead 66-42.
- Jack Joldersma finishes in transition as he has scored four-straight points for the Golden Eagles, making it 74-49 with seven-minutes to go.
- Cornerstone goes deep in their bench as Luke Vanderwerff makes a couple layups and Tre Seydel nails a corner three to make it 83-55.
