Men’s Basketball is set to take on Michigan-Dearborn and Indiana Tech in a pair of key conference clashes

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Basketball will look to extend their win streak with two more conference matchups this week. The Golden Eagles will kick off their week as they travel to Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday, December 4 then returns home for a game against Indiana Tech on Saturday, December 7 to finish out their week of play.

Men's Basketball put on a show at home in their last time out with a 118-54 victory over Defiance in their solo game of the week. The Golden Eagles ran away with this one fast thanks to Toby Woolcock's first career triple-double (11 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists). Kayden Bird also highlighted in this matchup with a career high 22 points off seven made threes. Luke Rowlinson led the way in scoring for the Golden Eagles with 25 points as they extended their win streak to three games in the WHAC conference. 
 
Scouting Michigan-Dearborn
Michigan-Dearborn comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 2-8 (1-2) averaging 71.8 points per-game. The Wolverines are shooting 39.7% from the field to start the year and are led by Jackson Reynolds who is averaging 17.0 points per game. Michigan-Dearborn's solo victory in the WHAC conference came against Concordia which will be a benchmark as they prepare to take on a rolling Golden Eagles team.

Indiana Tech comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 4-3 (3-0) averaging 75.7 points per-game. The Warriors are shooting 46.3% from the field on the year and are led by both Blake Davison and Crew Gibson who are averaging 12.0 points per-game. Indiana Tech sits in third place in the WHAC conference standings just one place behind Cornerstone as both teams have a 3-0 record in the conference but only one will come out of this matchup with the undefeated mark making this a highly anticipated matchup in Mol Arena this weekend.
