GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Wrestling competed in a pair or matches today against Cleary and Southwestern Michigan College. In the first matchup the Golden Eagles ran away with the contest early as they dominated 37-7. In the second matchup of the evening, it was the same story as Cornerstone controlled from start to finish as they secured another victory at 29-11.
In the first contest with Cleary,
Devan Johnson set the tone with pure domination from start to finish as he defeated his opponent 15-0.
Thade Radosa continued to show his strength on the mat as he was able to pin his opponent to secure six points for Cornerstone.
Cooper Mansfield then capped off the match with a stellar comeback victory as he pinned his opponent with everyone in Mol Arena on their feet.

In the second matchup of the night Cornerstone saw six wrestlers cap off a 2-0 evening and proved why they are ranked #20 in the NAIA.
Joe Lashuay put on a show for the home crowd in his decisive 18-2 victory.
Trevor Marsman also got the Golden Eagles started in the match with a strong 8-0 win in his only bout of the night.
