CORBIN, Ky. – Cornerstone took a road trip down to Kentucky to compete in the Pepsi Patriot Open to kick off their season. The Golden Eagles placed 12^th of 33 with top finishes from Trevor Marsman and Brady Heckathorn. 

The standout performance of the day came from non-other than #1 ranked Trevor Marsman who placed 1^st in the 125-weight class. Trevor dominated early in his bouts with 17-1 and 15-0 victories and capped on the night in the championship match with a 4-0 decision win. Brady Heckathorn placed 4^th in the 184-weight class off multiple double-digit major decisions on the day.
