LIMA, Ohio – The road struggles continued for women's basketball as they fall to UNOH 86-74, falling to 2-8 on the road. UNOH started off the game hot and never looked back as Cornerstone was battling from behind all game. The Racers had the home court touch, shooting 51.8% from the field while the Golden Eagles shot just 36.4% and only making four threes for the game.
Stephanie Ainsworth was the bright spot for the Golden Eagles scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for another double-double. This loss moves Cornerstone to 9-8 (7-5) on the season as they return home to face off against Madonna on Wednesday, January 24 starting at 5:30 p.m.

- First Quarter
- Mackenzie Stien got the scoring started for the Golden Eagles on a fastbreak layup off the pass of Jaylee Long, two-minutes into the game.
- The Golden Eagles have struggled to score as UNOH has gone on a 9-0 run to take a 9-2 lead over Cornerstone.
- Mackenzie Stien ended the scoring drought for Cornerstone with a nice post move and left-handed shot to make it 9-4.
- UNOH has continued to put the pressure on Cornerstone early as they continue to lead 17-8.
- Gracie Gortmaker drives and makes a layup and Jaxi Long makes a pair of free throws as the Golden Eagles continue to see themselves losing, 19-12 after the first quarter.
- Second Quarter
- UNOH opened the second quarter on a 7-0 run to extend their lead to double digits, 26-12 as the Golden Eagles have not scored yet in the second quarter.
- The Racers continued to grow their lead as they now winning 34-16 with 4:44 remaining until the half.
- Cornerstone answered with a 9-0 run of their own to cut into the UNOH lead 34-35. Olivia Kubik has five of the Golden Eagle points during the run.
- Olivia Kubik scored another five straight for the Golden Eagles as Stephanie Ainsworth makes a basket around the rim as UNOH continues to lead 41-32 with two-minutes until halftime.
- Stephanie Ainsworth closes the half with a basket to make it a 41-36 Racer lead at halftime, closing the final four minutes of the second on a 20-7 run.
- Third Quarter
- UNOH opened the third quarter on a 7-2 run to extend their lead back to double digits, 48-38.
- The Racers have stopped the Golden Eagles on the offense end and have used another 7-0 run to start pulling away in this game, 59-44 with two-minutes to go in the third.
- Cornerstone and UNOH traded baskets to end the third quarter as the Racers lead 64-50 headed into the fourth quarter. UNOH outscored the Golden Eagles 23-14 in the quarter.
- Fourth Quarter
- UNOH opened the fourth quarter on a 7-3 run to extend their lead back to their largest of the game at 18, 71-53 with eight-minutes remaining.
- Stephanie Ainsworth gets another basket around the rim and Emma Costen knocks down a pair of free throws as the Racers continue to lead 73-57 with 6:30 remaining in the fourth.
- Good ball movement from the Golden Eagles ends with a corner three from Maddison Fulks as Cornerstone continues to chip away at the Racer lead, 79-66 with 3:43 remaining.
- A turnover leads into a fastbreak layup for UNOH as it stops the Cornerstone momentum late in the fourth.
- UNOH put the game away with a three as the Racers go on to beat Cornerstone 86-74
