LOUISVILLE, Mich. – The Golden Eagles spent Saturday in Louisville at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park for the largest race they will compete in all year seeing three personal bests on the day.
Jamin Thompson,
Isaiah Jacobs, and
Jacie Remtema all hit a new PR, including Thompson's time moving him to 12
th all-time in program history. The CU men finished 26
th overall while the women finished 22
nd of 32 teams competing in their division. Cornerstone will be back in action on October 14 at the MCC Jayhawk Invitational in Muskegon, Michigan.

Jamin Thompson continued his dominance at the top of the Golden Eagle men's lineup, improving his PR with a time of 25:15 to move to 12
th all-time in CU program history for the 8,000m. In the largest race that CU competes in all year he finished top 25 with a 22
nd individual finish.
Isaiah Jacobs was the second-best CU finisher, also earning a PR with a time of 26:17. Cornerstone finished with a team time of 2:11:43 to earn 26
th overall in the Blue Division of the collegiate 8k.
CU also saw men compete in the Silver Division.
Aiden Goodwin led that group with a time of 28:47 to finish 195
th.

#19 Women's Results
The 19
th ranked Golden Eagles went back to a 5,000m race at the Greater Louisville Classic and once again saw
Haley Nieuwkoop lead the way with an 18
th place finish individually and a time of 18:26.
Jacie Remtema highlighted action however with a three second PR and 99
th place finish as the freshman ran a mark of 19:27.
Cornerstone as a team finished 22
nd of 32 teams in the Blue Division of the collegiate 5k with a total team time of 1:38:04.
