Last Week Recap
The struggles continued for the Golden Eagles as they dropped their fourth straight conference matchup, which marks one of the worst starts in conference play since the 1996-97 season where they opened conference play 0-4. Cornerstone sits at 4-5 (1-4) on the season after a tough loss against Indiana Tech (5-5, 4-1) 87-61. The offense was nonexistent for the Golden Eagles as they shot 31.3% for the game holding Cornerstone's top scorer to just 12 points.

Looking at Michigan Dearborn
Michigan-Dearborn comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles with an overall record of 2-8 (0-5). It was not the start to the season that the Wolverines were looking for as they have dropped their last six games, losing by more than 20 in their last three games. Cornerstone has won the last five matchups against the Wolverines as they look to keep that win streak going on Saturday. Michigan-Dearborn is led by freshman Jackson Reynolds who is averaging 17.9 points per-game while shooting 45% from the field.

Looking at #1 Grace
Grace comes into the matchup against the Golden Eagles as the #1 team in the nation with an overall record of 11-0. The Lancers are ranked seventh in the nation in scoring 92.5 points per-game. They are top five in free throws made and attempted, as well as defensive and total rebounds per-game. They are also the best team in the nation at passing the ball as they average 22 assists per-game to lead the nation. This is a very well rounded, solid team that the Golden Eagles will try and slow down when they face off on Tuesday, December 19. The Lancers are led by their senior big man Elijah Malone. The seven-footer is averaging 17.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per-game while junior guard Cade Gibbs is right behind him as he is averaging 16.6 points per-game.
