Last Week Recap
Men's basketball opened their season in the Crossroads/WHAC Challenge and went 1-1 on the weekend. The Golden Eagles opened their season with a win against Spring Arbor 78-62 behind career highs from Mason Brooks and Toby Woolcock. Cornerstone had a tougher opponent day two going against #9 Indiana Wesleyan and falling 97-83 where the defense had troubles containing the Wildcats. Luke Rowlinson and Eli Steffen led the way for the Golden Eagles. Each team there went 1-1 on the weekend.

Halftime Lightning
It is the home opener for basketball on Saturday, November 4 and in celebrating, Cornerstone StoneZone will be having a halftime lightning competition where the winner will receive a Flo's gift card. Only 14 people can play at halftime so make sure to reserve a spot.

Looking at Kuyper
Kuyper is a first-year program in the NCCAA as they are located just down the street on East Beltline. Their first game of the season comes against Boyce College tomorrow. A Freshman heavy team with no college experience may cause some havoc against Cornerstone. Look for the Cougars to play loose and free against the Golden Eagles on Saturday, November 4 looking to spoil the home opener.
