Last Week Recap - Two More Victories
The Golden Eagles had another solid week going 2-0 with victories over Concordia 91-42 and IUSB 90-83. The offense has continued their dominate stretch that continues to see them shoot over 50% a game. Cornerstone now moves to 7-1, 4-0 in the WHAC as they hit the road to face (17) Indiana Tech and Grace Christian.

Keep it Going
Cornerstone is shooting 54.8% from the field through the first eight-games of the season. The offense has helped Cornerstone get off to their great start as they ranked 3rd in their field-goal percentage and 2nd in the NAIA in 36 field-goals made a game. It helps when the ball goes through the hoop as 10 of the Golden Eagles players are shooting better than 45% from the field and averaging 21 assists per game.

Balanced Attacks
Every game Cornerstone sees players step up each game. Against Concordia, Cornerstone had three players in double-digits with Carter Nyp with 20, Cory Ainsworth with 17 and 11, and Luke Rowlinson with 17 and 12. Against IUSB Cornerstone saw all five starters in double figures as Cory Ainsworth had 20 and Trent Summerfield set a new career high with 19. It's a great balance for this Cornerstone offense.

Dominance at Home
Head Coach Kim Elders is one of the best in home contests as he holds a 276-51 record in Mol Arena. He added two more victories last week in a blowout victory over Concordia and a tightly contested matchup against IUSB.

Scouting Indiana Tech
Indiana Tech has gotten off to a great start to their season as they 17th in the nation as they sit 7-1, 4-0 in the WHAC. The Warriors are shooting 46.6% from the field and struggling behind the arc as they are shooting just 31%. They have balanced scoring as the veteran lineup is led by Josh Kline, Grant Smith, and Rog Stein. They have a tough physical defense that hasn't let any opponent score more than 80 points. Cornerstone is averaging 94 points a game.

Scouting Grace Christian
Grace Christian has gotten off to slow start as they are 4-4 to start their season. The fast-paced Tigers are averaging 86 points a game while shooting 47% from the field. Grace Christian has a balanced attack on offense as they see four players averaging more than 10 points as they are led by Junior Jalen Rawls who is averaging 16 points a game. Cornerstone has had Grace's number over the years as they have won the last 10 matchups
