DEFIANCE, Ohio. – The Golden Eagles in just their third ever dual meet in program history fell 51-6 on the road at Defiance College on Saturday evening. CU was forced to forfeit multiple matches due to a few injuries and being a first-year program.
Trevor Marsman was the only player to get points for Cornerstone, winning due to a forfeit at the 125lbs match. Cornerstone forfeited five matches, giving Defiance 35 of their 51 points. CU will host a quad match, their first home event in program history on Friday, December 17 for their next meet.
