CU would increase their pressure in the final six minutes and nearly comeback, but it would end up being too little too late for the Golden Eagles.. With the loss, Cornerstone drops to 2-26, 1-17 WHAC as they will get set to travel to a tough Lawrence Tech squad on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Both teams would struggle to get their offense going in the first in the first five minutes going a combined 4-16 from the field to combine for just eight points.

Concordia would end the first quarter on a 5-0 run to take a 15-10 lead after one.

The Cardinals would pick up their defense in the second quarter, holding Cornerstone to four points in the period to take a 32-14 lead at half.
