Scouting UM-Dearborn
A veteran Wolverine lineup that sees six seniors on the roster sits in last place in the conference standings at 8-20 overall and 3-16 in the WHAC, despite winning each of their last two conference games. UM-Dearborn is looking to win more than three games in conference play for the first time since the 2012-13 season, as they have just one regular season game remaining vs. Cornerstone on Wednesday. A pair of sophomores in Sade Lemons (12.0 PPG) and Jeorgia Jones (10.6 PPG) lead the Wolverines in scoring on the year. Senior Meredith Williams has been one of the best defensive players in the nation, ranking 10th in NAIA DII in total steals with 82 on the year.

Scouting Lawrence Tech
Lawrence Tech is on pace to record their best season in program history, holding a 23-4, 15-3 WHAC record. Second year head coach Kylene Spiegel and the Blue Devils have secured the two-seed entering the WHAC tournament while ranking 19th in the latest NAIA Division II poll. Junior Nicole Buckingham leads the team with 17.0 PPG, while senior Hayley Walkowski is the team leader with 6.1 RPG to go along with her 14.4 PPG. Buckingham and Walkowski have combined for three WHAC player of the week awards this season.

Senior Day
Cornerstone will be hosting senior day on Saturday, February 17 against No. 19 Lawrence Tech. CU will honor five seniors, along with junior Jesse Sheridan who will be concluding her career after the 2017-18 season. Julie Brown, Lizzy Otten, Taryn Sack, Cass Vredevoogd, and Breona Wilson are the five seniors that will be honored with Sheridan Saturday afternoon.

History vs. the Wolverines
Cornerstone has lost just twice to UM-Dearborn in the 11 tries under head coach Katie Mattera, posting a 9-2 record in her six years. CU earned a dominant victory earlier this season, defeating the Wolverines 83-58 inside Mol Arena.

History vs. Lawrence Tech
Cornerstone earned a huge 65-54 road victory over NAIA No. 22 Lawrence Tech earlier this season to garnish three wins in their last four tries vs. the Blue Devils. The Golden Eagles are 9-2 against LTU under the direction of six year head coach Katie Mattera. Head coach Mattera won the first six appearances vs. Lawrence Tech before losing for the first time in November of the 2015-16 season.

National Statistics
Cornerstone ranks top 20 in NAIA Division II in four different team statistical categories this season. CU shoots 44.4% from the field to rank (12th), tallies 28.8 defensive rebounds per game (15th), shoots 74.8% from the field (19th), and has 427 total assists (20th). Individually, Jesse Sheridan is fifth in NAIA Division II in free throw percentage shooting a career best 88.1% from the strike.

WHAC Outlook
With just two regular season games remaining, Cornerstone sits a half game up on Concordia for fourth place in the conference standings. With the WHAC Tournament on the horizon, Indiana Tech has already locked up the top seed, while Lawrence Tech has secured the number two seed. The Golden Eagles could finish anywhere between the three and the six seed for the conference tournament depending on the results of the final week of regular season action. To earn the three seed, Cornerstone needs to win both games, and have Aquinas go 0-2 in their final two games.

Sheridan closer to 8th
Jesse Sheridan scored 23 points this past week to put her 48 points away from finishing her career eighth all-time in Golden Eagle program history. Sheridan is looking to surpass Jandi Hillaker who recorded 1,492 career points from 1991-95.
