GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Cornerstone Men's Basketball team will get back into conference play as the No. 1 ranked Golden Eagles finish out the first half of WHAC play with road trips to UM-Dearborn, Davenport and Northwestern Ohio. CU is riding a 15-game winning streak and is 8-0 in the league while its pair of foes this week are a combined 23-10 overall.

Head coach Taylor Langley, who is in his third season at the helm of the program, has the Wolverines at 11-6 overall and 5-4 in the WHAC entering the week. UMD has posted wins over two ranked foes so far this season in Davenport and Indiana Tech and has a strong mark of 6-0 inside their own gym. Marcus Williams (16.3) is leading a trio of Wolverines in double-figure scoring while Xavier Crofford is the team-leader in assists (46) while Jason Penn hauls down a team-best 6.9 rebounds per game.

Scouting Davenport – Head coach Burt Paddock (9th Year)
Ninth year head coach Burt Paddock has the Panthers 12-4 overall and 6-2 in the WHAC entering the week's games in which they face Madonna in Livonia on Wednesday night. Davenport, which is ranked No. 11 in the latest NAIA DII Top-25 Poll, have won six out of their last seven games overall with their only setback coming at Northwestern Ohio. Leading the way offensively for DU is senior Kevin Rich who is averaging 18.6 points per game while junior college transfer Javon Haines is just behind him at 18.0 per night. Senior Nick Gamble leads the team with 4.9 assists per night as the point guard is also putting up 10.0 points per game.
History vs. Davenport
The see-saw battle between the Beltline rivals continues as CU still holds an 18-12 edge in the all-time series and has won five of out of the past eight games overall including two of the last three meetings at the DU Student Center. Since 2008-09, CU leads the overall points 1,533-1,521 (77.0-75.8).
