The Saints, under interim head coach Ryan Bertoia, are off to a 5-5 start against a tough schedule that has featured three games already against current NAIA Top-25 teams in Rochester and Indiana Wesleyan. The Saints went 1-1 this past weekend at the GR Sports Hall of Fame Classic with a win over Calvin and they have won two of their last three overall including a league win over Lawrence Tech last week. Aquinas is led in scoring by senior Jake Bullock as he is averaging 16.4 points per game. Jeremy Williamson is just behind Bullock at 15.0 ppg. As a team, the Saints are putting up 74.1 points per night while allowing 68.8.

Scouting Indiana Tech – Head coach John Peckinpaugh
Head coach John Peckinpaugh is in his third season at the helm of the Warriors' program and they are off to a 5-3 start so far in 2016-17. Indiana Tech came into the season ranked No. 20 in the preseason poll but have since dropped out. Two of their losses have come against the No. 1 team in the country in St. Francis while the other came at UM-Dearborn. The Warriors are led in scoring by GR-native Miles Robinson who is averaging 21.1 points per game while five others put up at least 8.9 points per night. Indiana Tech is averaging 77.2 points per game while allowing 76.7. The Warriors will take on Marygrove before hosting Cornerstone on Saturday.

Cornerstone Surpasses 1,000 Win Mark
The Golden Eagles surpasses 1,000 wins in program history with their two wins over Ozarks and Huntington two weekends ago and they now stand at 1,003-652 all-time.
Hall of Fame Classic Champions
The Golden Eagles claimed their second straight and sixth overall Hall of Fame Classic title with a pair of wins over Calvin (83-55) and Hope (95-78).
