Alexis McConnell is the female Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week after leading the women's Track & Field team to a very successful weekend across the Great Lakes' region.

McConnell posted an automatic qualifying standard in the 5,000m run where she set a new freshman record by 54 seconds.

Alexis and her teammates will head to University of Findlay on Friday and Saturday for their next meet.
