Cass Vredevoogd is the female Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week after scoring in double-figures in both of CU's wins this week while recording her 1000th career point.

The senior, who played two years at Dordt College (Iowa) and scored 497 points for the Defenders, went over the milestone in Cornerstone's 83-58 victory over UM-Dearborn on Wednesday night.

Cass has led CU to a 6-game winning streak as they are now in third in the WHAC standings with a home game up next on Wednesday vs. Northwestern Ohio.
