Sam Vander Sluis is the Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week after leading the Men's Basketball team to a trio of wins over Siena Heights, Hope and Calvin.

The center posted averages of 20.7 points and 9.0 rebounds to go along with just over one assist, one steal and one block.

Sluis and the team will head back to Aquinas on Wednesday for a WHAC game against the Saints before playing host to undefeated Indiana Tech on Saturday.
