Kelli Smith is the women's Golden Eagle of the Week after posting a fourth place overall finish in the 2017 WHAC XC Championships on Saturday afternoon at Riverside Park.

The sophomore was also named the WHAC Newcomer of the Year as she was the top finisher who is new to the WHAC this season. Her and Alexis McConnell clinched individual places in the NAIA National Championships.
