Deon Fox is the Golden Eagle Athlete of the Week after starting his senior season off with a pair of national qualifying marks at the GVSU Holiday Open.

Fox started the night with a mark of 8.37 in the 60m hurdles and then finished it with a mark of 15'1 in the Pole Vault, which qualified him in both events for the national championships in Johnson City, Tenn.

Fox will lead his team in their next meet in January at Hillsdale.
